Copacabana
Left the catamaran and walked through Copacabana town to
meet the bus in the main square. Took off on a tour around the coast, viewing
Moon island and lots of coastal fisheries and farms.
Walked through a fairly deserted town with
adobe walls, but unsure of whether the residents had left or had padlocked the
doors (no key holes) whilst they were working on the farms. A school was within the small town which had
children at work, so the town was populated.
Lunch was at a very nice hotel which unfortunately suffered a power cut
as soon as we arrived. However, managed to supply hot soup and a full set menu,
albeit in some darkness. Again no wifi
facilities.
Took public bus to Puno which took about 3 hours. Stayed at Colon Inn Hotel, Puno.
